About Us

Kevin Welsh

Kevin currently lives in Southern California, with his wife Harmony and their 2 daughters. Kevin and Harmony have been married for 14 years. Kevin has worked as a fireman and a paramedic for the past 11 years. Prior to that Kevin spent time in both the real estate world and in finance. Kevin grew up in Los Angeles in a large multiracial family. He played sports starting at a young age and continued playing soccer through college. A large part of Kevin’s story is making the choice to be sober and holding fast to that commitment for the past 18 Years. As the exposure to trauma as a paramedic and the conversations he had with Nole and others around this subject increased Kevin felt called to start a podcast where these issues could be talked about openly and honestly, with the goal of helping other men going through the same things feel less alone and more willing to talk about it.

Nole Lilley

Nole currently lives in the mountains of Southern California, with his wife Heather and their 3 children. Nole and Heather have been married for 18 years. He has worked as a fireman with L.A. County Fire for the past 12 years. Prior to that, he served as a United States Army Ranger, deploying multiple times into Iraq and Afghanistan. Nole and Heather have experienced the death of two of their sons and their journey through that loss has shaped much of the people they have become today. Nole has also dealt with post-traumatic stress related to the loss of his sons and his time serving as a Ranger. As a fireman, Nole has continued to live and work in a world where exposure to trauma can be a very regular occurrence. From this experience, Nole felt called to start a podcast where he could share his experiences with others who are working through difficult times in life and also share the struggles and triumphs of other men that he admires.

Both Kevin and Nole are patriots whose walk with God shapes the way they lead their families. They are passionate about becoming better husbands and fathers. Being the best they can be as firemen and being disciplined in life, fitness, and health.
